Taladnam Lamphaya
Located at Wat Lamphaya by Maenam Tha Chin, about 24 kilometers away from Salaya. Taladnam Lamphaya is made up of a huge raft along the river with boats as shops selling basketry; homespun cloth; handmade stuff; fruit and Thai sweet including noodle or Kuaytiao, stewed duck, grilled fish; etc. This floating market was named its location by the river in Wat Lamphaya; an old temple of over 100 years but still beautiful with renovations from time to time. The Ubosot enshrines Luang Po Monkol Mala Nimitr, a sacred Buddha image in the attitude of Subduing Mara. Also available is boating along Maenam Tha Chin in different types at your choice. Open on Saturday – Sunday only between 06.00 – 15.00 hrs.
